Roaring fires and soft leather couches, books and board games. It’s a shame there are so many wonderful places near by to visit and explore that may entice you away from the comforts of our home. You can snuggle down with a book and put your feet up in front of the roaring fire in the Drawing Room. We have a large and diverse selection of books available to browse whist you're here, you never know what you may find!
A highlight of your stay will be an extra special breakfast made from quality local produce, homemade breads and preserves, all served in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of our Dining Room.

You will notice at once that the house is elegant and spacious without having lost that special feeling of homeliness. Built in 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's jubilee, it retains the grandeur of the Victorian age while being completely modernised.
