CURY
Formerly St. Corantyn, lies to the east of Gunwalloe, between Mawgan and Mullion. It forms a perpetual curacy with Gunwalloe. The church has a fine Norman doorway, and some curious carvings. There is an old cross in the churchyard. The interesting mansions of Bochym and Bonythorn, formerly occupied by the families of those names, are situated in this parish

Helston's Flora Day and Furry Dance is a blend of Pagan ritual and Christian celebration. Now firmly reinstated on the town's calendar, the modern day festival sees the streets come alive with singing, dancing and parties as the town celebrates the start of spring and welcomes in the fertility of the land after the long and barren winter months.
